Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, modify, and maintain the district’s SharePoint site.
  • Migrate district from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online.
  • Coordinate with management and district employees regarding SharePoint goals and needs to enhance the SharePoint site.
  • Design the district SharePoint site to convey and gather information.
  • Conduct site testing and subsequent modifications/fixes.
  • Recommend changes regarding system and information architecture, security considerations, and governance.
  • Enhance interfaces between SharePoint and other applications/programs.
  • Develop and implement user-friendly improvements to applications/programs to lessen administrative workloads.
  • Train district employees on how to use SharePoint and SharePoint-related programs.
  • Develop, then train district employees on, automation options to enhance efficiency.
  • Create files/instruction manuals for administering the SharePoint site.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of SharePoint and MS Power Solutions application experience, including Microsoft SharePoint sites, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Associate degree required in an Information Technology-related program.
  • Hands-on experience in the application of SharePoint in the Federal Agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale applications.
  • Understanding of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
  • Ability to create and configure SharePoint intake workflow applications.
  • Hands-on experience in usability testing and UI/UX best practices.
  • Exceptional understanding of Windows operating system and hardware with a strong knowledge of software management.
  • Understanding of the rights, permissions, capabilities, and responsibilities of all kinds of SharePoint users: End Users, Power Users, Site Owners, Site Collection Administrators and SharePoint Farm Administrators.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage change and ambiguity.
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Skilled use of virtual platforms such as MS Teams and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency in the following applications/programs:
    • JavaScript
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JSON
    • Graphical design experience.
